We measure so many aspects of our physical health, but what about mental health? Joining Virtuosis AI, a young EPFL startup awarded "Microsoft Startup of the Year 2023", you will make contributions that have an impact in the real world. Our team has built an AI capable of analysing emotions and well-being and we are now taking it to the next level: mental health screening. During the internship, you will create collections of training and test data, benchmark ML architectures, develop algorithms, and build the needed infrastructure to train and test them.
Responsibilities

•⁠  ⁠Create collections of training and test data
•⁠  ⁠Benchmark ML architectures
•⁠  ⁠Develop algorithms
•⁠  ⁠Build the infrastructure to train and test these algorithms

Preferred Qualifications

•⁠  ⁠Python proficiency
•⁠  ⁠Experience with PyTorch and pyAudioAnalysis (or similar)
•⁠  ⁠Experience with machine-learning projects
•⁠  ⁠Some knowledge of emotion recognition
•⁠  ⁠Understanding of SOTA Machine Learning principles
•⁠  ⁠Experience with health-related data is a plus
•⁠  ⁠Good team player
